# Artwork Category

# What is an Artwork?

**Artwork is a design to be added to a print-on-demand product for selling.**

# How to add an artwork to a category?

* There are two ways to add an artwork to a category:

######  1. Go to **Artwork** page and click on the **New artwork** button.

* Then, the **Artwork Editor** will show up for you to add design to this artwork.

* Enter your Artwork name. 

* Set the Category where this artwork belongs to in \*\*Category \*\*option,.

* Or you can **create a new Artwork category** right on Artwork editor.

######  2. Click on the "Edit" icon to edit an available artwork.

* From the Artwork Editor, click on the Edit icon next to the artwork name. Then you will see the option to choose or create a category for this artwork.

# Hierarchy of Artwork Categories

The Category tree on the left shows the hierarchy of all artwork categories. You can arrange artworks into different categories for better organization.

* Hover on a category to see the action buttons. Click + button on a category to create a sub-category of it. **You can add up to 5 levels of sub-category.**

* To turn a category into a sub-category of another, just click Edit icon to edit it and change its **Parent Category**.

* Remove a category will NOT delete its artworks. You can find artworks in the removed category in **All**.
