# Black & White feature

# Creating the Upload Photo layer with Black and White effect

* Go to **Artwork editor > edit an image layer**
* In Personalization Options, choose **Upload photo**. You can read more about that feature [here](/en/article/upload-photo-feature-1gnhtlv/).
* Under the Image effects section, select **Black & White** option.
