# How to add Cross-sell Personalization to your campaigns

Boost your sales by offering personalized add-ons directly on your product page.

With **Cross-sell Personalization**, you can link a main product to another product or an entire collection. When buyers customize the main product, they’ll also see the linked items — giving them the option to personalize and purchase both together in one click.

# Setting up Cross-sell Personalization feature

### Step 1. Turn on Cross-sell Personalization for your store
* Navigate to your **Teeinblue > Store Settings > Product Page Settings > Cross-sell Personalization** and enable the toggle there.

* Once enabled, please be sure to click on the `Add metafields` button as well. 
| This will automatically create two required metafields in your store: `tib.cross_sell.product` and `tib.cross_sell.collection`. These metafields are needed for the next step.

### Step 2. Assign Cross-sell Products or Collections in Shopify

|| Since the feature doesn’t automatically apply a cross-sell product to all your Teeinblue products. You’ll need to manually select which products should display the Cross-sell block by editing them in your Shopify Admin.

* Navigate to Shopify Admin > Products > select the product you want to add the Cross-sell feature to. For example:

* Scroll down a little bit, and you should find the `Metafields` with two new metafields added there:

**TIB cross-sell collection(s): **Select one or more collections to link as cross-sell options. Customers will then be able to browse and choose from any product within those collections during personalization.

Here’s what your customers will see on the product page:

**TIB cross-sell product: **Select a single product to link as the cross-sell item. Customers will see and can personalize this specific product alongside the main one.

Here’s what your customers will see on the product page:

| If you add both "Cross-sell collection" & "Cross-sell product", only the collection will show up instead of the product.

||| Note**:** [Add-on charges](https://support.teeinblue.com/en/article/upsell-your-product-design-with-addon-charge-additional-charge-1at62af/) are currently **not supported** for Cross-sell products. If a customer selects an add-on while personalizing the Cross-sell product, only the product itself will be added to the cart, the add-on won’t be included. Keep this in mind when choosing a Cross-sell product that uses add-on pricing.




### Step 2.1: Bulk assign Cross-sell products

You can quickly apply the Cross-sell setup to multiple products in Shopify by using the **Bulk Edit** function.

* Navigate to your **Shopify Admin > Products section > select the products** you would like to add the Cross-sell feature to > select Bulk Edit

* You might need to click the Column Icon, then add the Metafields to the Table

* Select the Collection or the Product you want to add the Cross-sell feature to

### Step 3. Review and test your Cross-sell products

| You’re almost there! This last step is just about polishing things up. Double-check the translations, review the display, and make sure the Cross-sell block looks good and works as expected.

* Be sure to navigate to your **Teeinblue > Store Settings > Product Page Contents > Cross-sell Personalization** and review your translation there.

* Also, be sure to double-check everything on your **storefront**. Confirm that the Cross-sell block appears correctly, and that when you add the main product to cart, the linked Cross-sell product is also added automatically.
