Click on it to choose from: **PSD Group-to-template** (converts each group of layers in the psd file into a [template](https://support.teeinblue.com/en/article/templates-of-artwork-i6d23z/) in artwork), **PSD Single template** (uploads the whole psd file as layers into one single template), or [Import from Canva](https://support.teeinblue.com/en/article/import-artworks-from-canva-account-10o0j4n/) (import a design directly from your Canva account). || If you're uploading a Photoshop file, please keep it under 100MB. We suggest keeping it around 80MB for better stability. # Upload Layers In **Artwork editor** * In Artwork editor, click on the **+ Layer** button to open the layer selection menu, then choose the option you would like to offer for customer. * Click on the **Import** button to upload a PSD file or import a Canva file. The layers will show up in Layers list on the left. ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/6/0/8/5/6085dc2a7293d800/image_x1864s.png) ||| However, for personalizable layers, you should upload the layer images one by one, not through psd file, to maintain the image ratio. We do NOT recommend to upload the whole PSD file because: * Photoshop will trim the empty space of a layer by default, making its shape and ratio different. Example: a Dog layer in Square shape, with empty space around, will be trimmed to rectangle shape which fits the dog's shape. It creates a different ratio from the original layer, and leads to incorrect re-position of personalized cliparts (if other cliparts are in square shape). ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/6085dc2a7293d800/artwork-layers2_ns4z7m.png) ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/6085dc2a7293d800/artwork-layers-3_59e85y.png) * If your PSD file contain text and you want to add it as a personalized text layer, you should click convert text. Learn more about the text layer [here](https://support.teeinblue.com/en/article/add-text-text-personalization-12lfa55/) # Manage Layers * To **show** or **hide** a layer, you can click on the "eye" icon ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/6/0/8/5/6085dc2a7293d800/image_8dilym.png) ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/6/0/8/5/6085dc2a7293d800/image_i38puf.png) | Hidden layer cannot be clickable or movable. In this case, please select `selections` option. * To **select multiple layers and edit at a time**, **hold Ctrl key ➡ left mouse click on the layers** to select: ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/6085dc2a7293d800/select-some_1v3y1ei.png) * To copy-paste layer, you can select multiple layers, or group, and use the shortcut shortcut Ctrl (Cmd) + C and Ctrl (Cmd) + V to do so! ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/6/0/8/5/6085dc2a7293d800/image_1apnpok.png) * To **select a range of layers and edit at a time**, **hold Shift key ➡ left mouse click on the start-range layer and the end-range layer** to choose range: ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/6085dc2a7293d800/select-all_4tx319.png) * To **replace** a layer with another image, without setting the layer again, you can use the "Change default image" feature. It has 2 modes: **1. Preview mode:** will help you visualize how your personalization form will look like on live store. ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/6085dc2a7293d800/preview-options_lx0inf.png) **2. Re-order layer mode**: allows you to re-arrange the order of each personalized layers. To re-order layers, just drag and drop the layer to the desire position. Short-cut mode** You can open and edit a layer immediately by clicking on the `edit` button ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/6085dc2a7293d800/image_10x0j90.png) ||| Remember to Update campaign after every changing to update it on your site. # Auto-number Option titles When one set of layers repeats for each person or item in a design, you tell them apart with a number in the **Option Title** — `Choose type of Child #1`, `1. Hand`, `Hand 2`. Teeinblue writes those numbers for you when you duplicate a layer, when you paste layers into another artwork, and when you fill in the layers already on a template. Auto-numbering works with three title formats, and each one is a separate counter — a number in one format is never renumbered into another: * a number after `#`, anywhere in the title — `Name #1`, `#1 Name` * a plain number at the very end — `Name 1` * a number closed by punctuation at the start — `1. Name`, `2) Name` A bare number anywhere else (`2 Sided Print`) and a measurement (`1.5 cm`) are left as they are. || This feature works in **Artwork 2.0** only. ### Duplicate a numbered layer * To **number a copy automatically**, duplicate a layer whose Option Title has a number in it. Hover the layer in the Layers list and click the **copy** icon, or select the layer and press `Ctrl` (`Cmd`) + `C`, then `Ctrl` (`Cmd`) + `V`. ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/6/0/8/5/6085dc2a7293d800/image_1nz3o8j.png) * The copy keeps the same wording and the same number format, and takes the next free number in that series. `Choose type of Child #1` becomes `Choose type of Child #5` in an artwork that already has `#1` through `#4`; `1. Hand` becomes `2. Hand`. ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/6/0/8/5/6085dc2a7293d800/image_n06o1w.png) ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/6/0/8/5/6085dc2a7293d800/image_1u0kcz6.png) * The layer **name** is renumbered the same way when it also contains a number. * Duplicating a **group** of layers numbers each layer against its own wording. `Grandpa #1` in the group become `Grandpa #2` counted separately. ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/6/0/8/5/6085dc2a7293d800/image_aikh5y.png) * Duplicating or importing an **entire template** keeps every Option Title exactly as it is — nothing is renumbered. ### Paste numbered layers into another artwork * When you copy a numbered layer with `Ctrl` (`Cmd`) + `C`, Teeinblue shows a note with two ways to paste: `Ctrl` (`Cmd`) + `V` — paste and **keep** the Option Titles as they are. `Ctrl` (`Cmd`) + `Shift` + `V` — paste and **renumber** the Option Titles to fit the target artwork. ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/6/0/8/5/6085dc2a7293d800/image_1p012z4.png) * Renumbering follows the format the titles were already in (`1. Hand` stays a `1.`, `2.` series). * Layers that sit on different branches of a condition but share one Option Title are treated as a single slot, so they all move to the same new number. ### Number the layers already on the template * To **number a whole series at once**, open one layer, type a number into its **Option Title** (for example `Choose type of Child #2`), and click out of the field. A **Number *N* more** button appears next to the **Option Title** label, where `N` is how many other layers can be numbered. ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/upload-1/plugin/-/4/f/9/3/4f9341b80ae70800/03-suggestion-button_1h1mrc2.png) * Click the **Number *N* more** button to open the **Auto-add numbers to other option titles** panel. Each row shows a layer, its current title (`Now: ...`), and the title it will get. Drag the rows to change the order the numbers are given out. * Click **Clear selection** to untick every row at once. * Click **Apply to *N* layer(s)** to rename every ticked layer. Press `Ctrl` (`Cmd`) + `Z` to undo the whole set in one step. || The panel only covers layers in the same repeated slot as the one you are editing. For **Clipart** or **Vector** category layers that means the same category; for **Text** layers it means the same font. Layers of a different type, category, or font are left alone. || A layer that is **hidden** or **locked** is not renamed, but it keeps the number it already has. A title already numbered in one format is left alone when it sits next to a series in another format.
