Watercolor Mask feature can turn your customer's uploaded photo into a watercolor-like photo.
Before we begin, please keep in mind how this effect works:
- Retouch the photo’s colors to give it a painted look
- Apply a paper-like texture layer (can be toggle on/off)
- Add a mask to mimic watercolor brush spreads

Creating the Upload Photo layer with Portrait Sketch effect
- Go to Artwork editor > edit an image layer
- In Personalization Options, choose Upload photo. You can read more about that feature here.
- Under the Image effects section, select
Water Color (TIB)
option:
The following list explains what each of these settings does:
- Watercolor mask: you can also apply a watercolor mask to the uploaded photo. This adds a soft, painted edge or overlay, making the image blend naturally into your artwork. You can choose from our pre-made watercolor masks by clicking the Example Mask button.
- Enable transparent background: By default, there's a paper-like texture background, adding grain and making it look more like a real painting or drawing. Enable this feature will remove the paper background and make the outside of the watercolor mask transparent.
