1. What does it mean by “Free first xx orders”?



It means that you can generate xx orders per 30-day cycle without additional transaction fee as accordance with the plan you follow.

For example:
You are in the Starter plan with "Free first 50 orders" and the transaction fee is 1.8%.
It means that you have 50 orders per cycle without any transaction fee from Teeinblue. However, from the 51st order, Teeinblue will charge 1.8% of total price of an order (not charge the first 50 orders). On the next 30-day cycle, your usage will be reset and you will get new 50 free orders.

2. What is a cycle?


Teeinblue uses a 30-day cycle to count the number of orders within 30 days.

A cycle starts on the day you install Teeinblue, each cycle lasts 30 days. A user following a teeinblue’s plan will have a certain number of free orders per 30 days, so the number of orders will reset to 0 when a new cycle starts.

For example: you install Teeinblue on May 1st, then the first cycle is from May 1st - May 30th, the second cycle is from May 31st - Jun 29th,…

This cycle is different from the subscription's cycle - which Shopify uses to charge for your subscription each 30 days. The subscription cycle starts on the day you activate a plan (after the trial ends).

3. What is transaction fee?



When the number of your orders in a cycle exceeds the free limit, you will be charged extra fee. For teeinblue, we charge the percentage of product's price per order and call it “transaction fee”. The transaction rate depends on your subscription plan.

Same example above:
You are in the Starter plan with "Free first 50 orders" and the transaction fee is 1.8% (from the 51st order).
Assuming that the product's price of the 51st order is $50. Then Teeinblue will charge 0.018 x $50 = $0.9 per order.
➡ You need to pay $0.9 of extra fee for the 51st order.

Transaction fee is based on the product's price. This means:
It doesn't count the shipping fee.
It is still charged even if your order value = $0.
If your product price = $0, a minimum transaction fee will be applied according to your subscription: Starter = $0.63, Growth = $0.49, Premium = $0.35, Enterprise = $0.28 (for Custom plans, please contact support).

4. Do I get charged transaction fee with product that isn’t created by Teeinblue?



No, you won’t. We charge fee if only the order item is created by Teeinblue; and also, within the total value of an order, we only charge the value of product created by our app.

For example: You get an order with 2 items: a normal t-shirt created in Shopify & a personalized mug created in teeinblue. Then we will only charge the transaction rate of the price of the mug, not the total price of the whole order.

5. How does free trial works?


When first time activating a subscription, you will have a 14-day free trial to test Teeinblue.
If you cancel the subscription (by uninstalling the app) within the trial time, you will NOT be charged anything.
If you continue following the subscription after the trial ends, Teeinblue will charge the subscription fee (and usage fee if any), and no refund will be proceeded after the trial ends.

Each store can only use the trial once.

During the trial time, you can still switch to another plan or reinstall app, the amount of days left in the trial will still be kept.

6. How does Teeinblue define a valid order created by the app?



A valid order is counted when customer successfully creates an order* with product that is launched via teeinblue. With each successful order is created like that, we will count to your created order history which you can be noticed inside our app dashboard’s Usages page.

(*) An order is only calculated when the Customers complete their Checkout process and the order has been created in Shopify.

7. Does Teeinblue count test order? How do I create a valid test order?



Our app doesn't count orders that are marked as tested, however this is only valid if user uses Bogus Gateway in Payment checkout. To produce a valid test order using simulating transaction, you should follow this instruction by Shopify: Placing a test order.

8. How can I track my usage charge?

9. If my store uses a different currency than U.S. dollars (USD), how will Teeinblue charge the extra fee?



For stores that are using different currency, if you excess your free order limit, Teeinblue will calculate the extra fee in currency that is using by your store, then exchange it later to U.S. dollars (USD).

10. What will happen if I UPGRADE to a higher plan during my current cycle?



Subscription:
At first, you will have to pay for the full price of the new plan, but the remain amount of the unused days of the old plan will be refunded to your credits after a few days by Shopify.
Teeinblue uses the Shopify Billings to automatically calculate the amount to pay for a subscription. For more details about how this upgrade process works, please read more in this article by Shopify.

Orders:
The number of free orders in your current cycle will be extended to the correspondent number in the higher plan. Your usage (number of orders generated) in the current cycle remains the same.
For example: You're in the Starter plan and you have used 49 orders in the total of 50 free orders. You upgrade to the Growth plan. Then you have 350 free orders but still have used 49/350 free orders for the on-going cycle

In order to avoid extra transaction fee, you should upgrade to a higher plan when your usage is about to reach the limit of free orders. If there're already some extra orders charged, then upgrading to a higher plan only helps prevent charge for the next orders. Extra orders which are already charged cannot be refunded.

Upgrading a plan does NOT reset the number of orders counted in the on-going cycle.

11. What will happen if I DOWNGRADE to a lower plan during my current cycle?



Subscription:
At first, you will have to pay for the full price of the new plan, but the remain amount of the unused days of the old plan will be refunded to your credits after a few days by Shopify.
Teeinblue uses the Shopify Billings to automatically calculate the amount to pay for a subscription. For more details about how this downgrade process works, please read more in this article by Shopify.

Orders:
The number of free orders in your current cycle will be shortened to the correspondent number in the lower plan. Your usage (number of orders generated) in the current cycle remains the same.
For example: You're in the Growth plan and you have used 300 orders in the total of 350 free orders. You downgrade to the Starter plan. Then you only have 50 free orders but still have used 300/50 free orders for the on-going cycle, which means you will be charged a transaction fee for the next order (from the 301st order)

In order to avoid extra transaction fee, you should NOT downgrade to a lower plan when your usage is higher than the limit of free orders in the lower plan. Extra orders which are already charged cannot be refunded.

Downgrading a plan does NOT reset the number of orders counted in the on-going cycle.

12. What will happen if I UNINSTALL AND REINSTALL the app during my current cycle?


Subscription:
Your current subscription will be cancelled immediately when you uninstall. You will need to activate a plan to approve a new subscription when you reinstall.

Orders & data:
All usages and data remain.

13. Is Teeinblue free for Development store?


Yes. If a store is a Development store, it can use Teeinblue without activating any plan. If the store transfers to a Shopify live plan, it will need to activate a plan to continue using.

14. How do I cancel Teeinblue's subscription?
