Hierarchy of Clipart Categories

A clipart category can contain multi-level sub-categories.

When you want to place a category into another category, just select its Parent Category:

For example: The Dog Breed category is the parent category of the Beagle.

Display on Clipart Categories page

The Category tree on the left shows the hierarchy of all clipart categories.

Hover on a category to see the action buttons:

Click + button on a category to create a sub-category of it.
You can also delete or duplicate a category.

Note: You can only duplicate a category and its contents. If you duplicate the whole category and its sub-categories, no clipart files will be duplicated in this case, only the structure of the folder.

To turn a category into a sub-category of another, just select it and choose its Parent Category from the dropdown list.

To reorder sub-categories within a category, click the parent category, then scroll down to view the list of sub-categories. You can either drag and drop them to reorder manually or use the Sort Alphabetically option to arrange them automatically.

Display on the Personalization Form

If you select 1 Clipart Category in Select a layer type, then you need to choose a clipart category and it will display all cliparts of that category immediately on personalization form:

If you select 1 Group of Clipart Categories in Select a layer type, you need to select a parent category, then on personalization form it will show a list of its sub-categories. Cliparts of a sub-category only shows up after customers select a sub-category:

For Artwork 2.0, you can convert between different layers with the Convert to another layer setting.
