Currently Teeinblue uses the following providers for Maps feature:

• Mapbox to display maps and create map styles.
• Mapbox or Google Maps API to search for locations.

Therefore, you need to create a Mapbox account (along with a Google Places API account, optionally) and connect it to Teeinblue.

Connect Mapbox account

• Go to mapbox.com and sign up to create a Mapbox account.
• After signing up, find and copy the Default public token from your Dashboard

• Go to Teeinblue Portal, navigate to Extras > 3rd-party Services > Maps > Choose Mapbox > Paste the API Key there

• Click Save.

You can now use Mapbox map styles and location search in teeinblue..

Connect Google Places API (optional)

Before switching to Google Places API, here are some pros & cons you should know:

• Pros: Google has a richer and more accurate database of places.
• Cons: Search fees are more expensive.

If you still plan to use Google, here're the steps to do:

• Create an account in Google Cloud Platform.
• Create a project.
• Setup billing account and link it to the project.
• Go to Google Maps Platform > Credentials page > enable Places API (new) & Maps Javascript API.
• On the Credentials page > select Places API (new) in the dropdown > click on + Create Credentials button > API key > Copy the generated API key

• Go to Teeinblue Portal, navigate to Extras > 3rd-party Services > Map > Choose Google > Paste the API Key there

• Click Save.

Teeinblue will now use Google's location search instead of Mapbox.

After completing all the steps, you can start using our Maps feature.

If Google Search does not work in your store, please check the following possible reasons:

• Setup billing account in Google Cloud Platform;
• Link the billing account to the project;
• Maps Javascript API is enabled;
• API key is from Places API;
• No restriction in API key;
