How to make a test order?

This is the only acceptable method to create a test order. Other than this, we still count as real order and added to your plan limit.

Step 1: Go to your Shopify admin then go to Settings > Payment Providers

Step 2: If you're having an enabled credit card payment provider, you need to deactivate it to make this working. Go to Manage > Deactivate then confirm your deactivation

Step 3: You will now see a Third-party providers section, click on "Choose third-party provider"

Step 4: Click on "Activate (for testing) Bogus Gateway"

Step 5: Go back to your online store to place a test order. In the payment page, enter credit card information as following instruction:

Name on card: any
Credit card number: 1
CVV: Enter 3-digit number (e.g. 111)
Expiry date: Enter any date in the future

NOTE: When you finish testing order, go back to Payment Providers in Shopify admin and choose another provider to reset your payment provider. We can only check orders as tested if only you use Bogus Gateway for testing.

In case you try to test a real order, it will be counted in plan limit as normal order and still be charged a transaction fee (even for $0 order).
