Pre-set Inventory locations for each product base

Overview

By default, when you publish a campaign to Shopify, the "Inventory" of all variants in that campaign will be set as the store's default location .

In the image above, you will see that my Product's location is automatically set to Hanoi which is also my Store's default location .

You can navigate to Store Settings > Inventory Locations to pre-set a different location for each product base.
For example: you can set a mug from "merchOne" to always have the "Inventory stocked at" set as "merchOne".

Match inventory locations

Why you might need to use this feature

Regarding Supplier's Inventory Location

Most third-party app that you are familiar with (MerchOne, Printify, Printful, etc.) also handles inventory, they have their own warehouses and locations. When you install their applications, the apps will manage shipping, and Shopify will rely on the apps' locations to calculate the Shipping Rates.

Also, right after the you installed these Apps, they will automatically create a new inventory location on the your Store.

As you can see, I have a lot of locations there, such as: MerchOne, Printify, ShineOn.

Regarding Supplier's Shipping Rates

Some apps integrate with Shopify to offer their own shipping rates. These apps might connect with shipping carriers or fulfillment services that offer specific rates based on their contracts or logistics setup.

Most Apps we work with, like Printful, Printify, MerchOne, will have their own Shipping Rates for Merchant to use.

For example, with MerchOne, you will see a very detailed Shipping Rate below:

If you want to apply the same Shipping Rate from these applications to Teeinblue products, then this feature is for you. You can now assign the location of Teeinblue products to the same as your Supplier's location, and the shipping rates will be applied to them.

When you might need to use this feature

This feature is best used for the following cases:

You have a specific store location for Teeinblue products.
You want to use the shipping's live rates from fulfillment providers (the location must match the provider's location to use the live rates)
You have custom shipping rates for some specific products.

Some notes for this feature:

If you leave the "Shopify Location" blank, the published campaigns will use the store's default location for that product.
Currently, Teeinblue only supports mapping single location per product.
If you change the "Inventory stocked at" of a variant in Shopify, then update campaigns later, the following scenarios will occur:
- Changed location does not support multi-inventory: the pre-set location in Teeinblue will override the new location.
- Changed location supports multi-inventory: the new location will remain, and the pre-set location in Teeinblue will be added alongside it.
If the changed location supports multi-inventory
