Share option with another layer
This feature can link multiple layers with one personalization option, so customers just need to personalize once and it'll apply to many layers.
This feature is very helpful for selling pattern design, or mug with the same left and right design...

You can do it with the Link option in Artwork editor.
Method 1. Duplicate a Layer and link it in one step
Use this when you are building the linked Layer from scratch.
- In Artwork editor, finish every setting on the source Layer first — its Personalization Option, conditional settings, and design.
- In the Layers panel, select the source Layer. On the Layer toolbar, click Duplicate & Link options.

- All of these Layers will then be automatically duplicated and set their shared option settings based on the original layers. A linked Layer shows a chain icon next to its name in the Layers panel.

Method 2. Link a Layer you already have
Use this when the Layer already exists and you do not want to duplicate it.
- In the Layers panel, select one or more Layers to link.
- On the Layer toolbar, open More options (the ⋯ button) and click Link with another layer.

- In the Link with another layer window, under Use an option of another layer, open Option of another layer and choose the option you want the selected Layer to share. Click Save.

What a linked Layer looks like
Open a linked Layer and its settings panel shows only a Linked Layer section — "This layer is linked to another layer. Design and personalization are synced from it." — with the Source layer named below. Design Settings, Populate Values, Personalization Settings, and Conditional Setting no longer appear on the Layer; they all come from the source Layer.

These properties stay editable on each linked Layer on its own:
- Transform and Align, from the Layer toolbar.
- Extra > Display this layer on — Mockup Preview & Order design, Mockup Preview only, Order Design only, or None.
Rules and limits
- A Layer can only be linked to another Layer in the same type category — Text with Text, Image with Image, Vector with Vector. When you open Link with another layer, the Option of another layer list only shows options from Layers in the same category as your selection; if no Layer in that category has an option, the list is empty.
- If the source Layer and the selected Layer are different subtypes of the same category, the selected Layer's subtype changes to match the source. For example, linking a Clipart Category Layer to a Photo Upload source turns it into a Photo Upload Layer (and the reverse turns a Photo Upload Layer into a Clipart Category Layer).
