Song Search feature
This feature allows customers to search for a song and retrieve its details, including the title, artist, duration, and Spotify URL. These details can be automatically populated into QR Code layers or other custom text layers.
You can use this feature to create various designs, such as a plaque showcasing your favorite song or a glass plaque immortalising a cherished memory.
Please continue reading the Article for find out how to create it on your Store. In the following example, we will help you with creating a glass plaque including the QR Code, the song name, artist name, and the song duration.
The song data will be fetched from the Spotify API.
On your Artwork Edtior, click on the + button, then select Song Search
After that, you will see the following menu:
This Layer does not actually includes any design. It is solely intended to search for the song.
This is the first layer you should create as it will serve as a foundation for other layers.
After creating the Song Search layer in the first step, you will need to create a QR Code layer for the song. Scanning the QR code will direct customers to the song's Spotify page.
On your Artwork Editor, click on the + button, then select QR Code
After that, you will see the following menu:
You can change the Default URL to anything you want. Doing so will change the default appearance of the QR Code.
Since you want the QR Code to direct to the Spotify Page, please toggle on the switch Populate value from the other options
In this case, we want the QR code to be generated with the Spotify URL of the selected song, which buyers can scan and open the song in Spotify, so we'll add the {{url}} from the Song layer. You can change it to a few other values by clicking on Lookup values button:
You can also change the foreground, and the background color of the QR Code:
The QR Code will now update dynamically based on the Song Search results!
With the QR Code now dynamically updating based on the search results, you can proceed to create text layers for the song name, artist name, and song duration.
Create a Text Layer like you usually do. You will also have to enable the Populate values from other options for it as well. In this case, the value will be {{title}}
Be sure to change the Default Text to your favorite song name as well!
Similar to the previous step, please go ahead and create another text layer. This time, the populate value will be {{artists}}
If you want, you can create another text layer for the song duration. the populate value will be {{duration}}
Once you are done, your Artwork should look like this:
Don't forget to change the font color, font family setting, etc. to however you see fit!
You can also populate the lyrics of your favorite song to the design as well!
On your Artwork Editor, click on the `+`button, then select Spiral Text

Continue to select the option Populate values from other options like you did in the previous step.
In this case, the value you want should be {{lyrics}}
Once you're done with the Artwork Editor, the Campaign should look like this:
Once you are done with creating your Artwork, add it to your Campaign as usual!

Creating the Song Search layer

Creating the Song Lyrics layer
You can also populate the lyrics of your favorite song to the design as well!
On your Artwork Editor, click on the `+`button, then select Spiral Text
