Text Reposition feature

Text Reposition lets users freely move and resize their custom text within the design. They can drag the text to any spot, adjust its size, and position it exactly as they wish.

Please continue reading this Article to see how you can set this up.

Creating Custom Text with Reposition Feature

Before we begin, please note that this feature only supports Single-line Text with Personalization being enabled (it does not work with Paragraph, Spiral or Curved Text yet).

  • Create a custom text layer like you usually do.
  • Make sure to click on Enable Personalization for this feature to work.
  • Inside PERSONALIZATION SETTINGS you will find this new setting Allow customers to reposition text :

By default, when enabling this feature, a "Reposition" button will show up next to the text input - click on it will open a popup to move the text (same as Photo Reposition).

  • On desktop, if you want to let customers reposition right on the gallery (no reposition button & no popup), you can go to Product Page Settings > Personalization Form, then turn on Enable Text Reposition on main gallery

By enabling this, Reposition on Gallery will be triggered when customers type in the text field. However, this feature only works on desktop view. On mobile, customers still need to reposition the text through the popup modal for better experience.

Some Notes:
  1. Cannot switch Reposition between the text in the mockup. Customers will need to trigger reposition for each custom text individually.
  2. Customers can resize the text from 0.5x to 3x compared to the default font size ("auto-scale when text is too long" will not work). We limit the min & max size to avoid breaking your original design.
  3. This feature now only works on storefront, you cannot preview it inside Artwork Editor and Campaign Editor.

Creating the Campaign

Once you're happy with your settings, be sure to launch it to your Storefront!
