The Word Search feature allows customers to create custom puzzles by entering names or words. Teeinblue will automatically generate a grid where the input words are pre-highlighted and circled, making it a perfect choice for personalized gifts like family name prints or posters.

Creating the Word Search Layer

On your Artwork Editor, click on the + button, then select Word Search

After that, you will see the following menu:

WORD SEARCH SETTINGS

Default words (only for preview):

You can change these default words to any names you want, and the canvas will also change accordingly.

If you do not like the current layout, please use the Regenerate Layout button.

Min col/row

Determine the number of minimum columns and rows. You can choose from 8 to 36.

Populate values from other options

Use this feature when your product has a single print area that appears on multiple sides, such as a mug or a tote bag.

To use this feature, please toggle ON the Populate values from other options setting, then follow the step below:

Highlighted Text Color

You can set the text color of the found words via this setting:

Outline Color

You can set the outline color of the found words via this setting:

Should you want the highlighted text to have solid background, please toggle on the Solid Background button:

Add toggle to show/hide

Allow the Customers to toggle on/off the Word Search layer.

Personalization Options:

If you want the Customers be able to enter their own names, please enable Enable personalization button.

Option Title

Show the label of the text field on storefront.

Eg. Enter your names here, etc.

Placeholder text

Temporary text showed on input field as guidelines.

Eg. Type your name here

Max words

Maximum number of names can be written.

Input type:

Useful when you want to block the customers from entering certain characters or you want to set your own custom rules. Refer to the following article for more details.

FEATURE BEHAVIORS:

• No matter if the names were input in lowercase or uppercase, the Live Preview, and the final render will always render the same in all uppercase characters.

• Direction Limits: The puzzle supports only three basic word directions. They are: top to bottom, left to right, top-left to bottom-right.

• Background Transparency: The puzzle element is transparent by default and does not support a background color.
• Grid Scaling: The number of characters in the grid adjusts automatically based on the physical size of the element.
• Layout Randomization: Clicking the "Regenerate Layout" button completely recalculates and changes the position and direction of every word.

Creating your Campaign

Once you're done with creating your Artwork, add it to your Campaign and launch it to your Storefront!
