Clock Face feature

INTRODUCTION

The Clock face lets your customers pick a time, and that exact time is drawn onto the artwork as a real clock. It is a popular choice for marking a special moments onmugs, keychains, birth-time keepsakes, and any product that celebrates a specific moment.

Adding a Clock face layer to your Artwork

Open your Artwork Editor, create a new layer, and select Clock face as the layer type.

The clock is always drawn as a circle inside a square box.

When you drag or resize the clock frame, the numbers scale automatically to fit. You do not need to adjust the font size by hand.

Clock face settings

You will find the following settings in the layer panel.

Show outer circle

Turns the outer ring of the clock on or off.

  • ON (default): the clock has a visible outer ring.
  • OFF: only the markers and hands are drawn, with no ring around them.

Turning this off works well on keychains and small print areas, where a thin ring can look cluttered.

Marker layout

Controls which hour markers are drawn around the dial.

  • Full numbers: all twelve numbers, 1 to 12.

  • Numbers at 3, 6, 9, 12: those four numbers, with ticks for the remaining hours.

Numeral style

Controls how the numbers are written.

  • Arabic: 1, 2, 3, 12
  • Roman: I, II, III, XII

This setting has no effect when Marker layout is set to Ticks only, because no numbers are drawn.

Number position

Moves the numbers closer to the centre or closer to the edge of the clock.

Number position

Offset the AM/PM position

Hour hand and Minute hand

Each hand has its own controls:

  • Length: how far the hand reaches from the centre.
  • Thickness: how thick the hand is drawn.

Keep the hour hand shorter than the minute hand. This is what people expect a clock to look like, and it makes the time easier to read at small print sizes.

Letting your customer choose the time

The Clock face layer is connected to a personalization option on your product page, so your customer can enter the moment they want.

Teeinblue's Time Picker

By default, the product page uses the browser's own time picker. That picker looks different on every device and browser, and it cannot be restyled to match your theme.

You can switch to Teeinblue's own time picker instead. It looks the same on every device, and it follows your Product Page styling settings.

Go to Settings > Product Page Settings and turn on Use Teeinblue's Time Picker instead of browser's.

This setting applies to your whole store, not to a single campaign.
