We've released a new feature which turns the Customers' paragraph into a spiral.

Creating the Spiral Text Layer

On your Artwork Editor, click on the + button, then select Spiral Text



After that, you will see the following menu:

GENERAL SETTINGS

Default spiral text (only for preview):

Note that the default words serve as preview purpose only, and they will not be rendered in the final design. You can try entering a paragraph, or a song lyrics that you want to appear here.



You can change these default spiral text to anything you want, and the canvas will also change accordingly.

Inner radius

The size of the inner radius of the spiral. You can enter any value higher than 20 there.

Text direction:

You can use this setting to determine whether the paragraph start from the inner or the outer of the spiral. Please view the comparison below:

PERSONALIZATION SETTINGS

You should find these settings pretty familiar. Please refer to the details guide here. We will still walk you through a few common settings below.

Add toggle to show/hide

Allow the Customers to toggle on/off the spiral text layer.

Personalization Options:

If you want the Customers be able to enter their own spiral text, please enable Enable personalization button.

Option Title

Show the label of the text field on storefront.

Placeholder spiral text:

The placeholder text will appear inside the customization form

Input text case

Choose how to display your customer's spiral text:
Normal
lowercase
UPPERCASE
Capitalize Each Word

Text character limit

Set limit on the number of characters that customer type in. This prevents too long text or overlapping.

Enable prefix/suffix

Set a fixed word/character before or after your personalized spiral text. The position of this word won't be changed as your customer add text

Allow customers to change Text Color

You can choose to offer your color option as
Color Picker
or limit the number of colors by setting up with Color Category (in Assets page). Learn more on how to set up Color Category here

Here's the result on your Storefront:

Allow customers to change Font

Let your customer choose font family. This feature only works if you set up the original text layer with Custom Font
Step 1: You'll need to set up Font Category in Assets > Font Categories. Learn more on how to set up Font Categories here
Step 2: Go back editing the Spiral Layer, then select choose the Font Category that you've just created



Here's the result on your Storefront:

Mark as required

Enable this option if it's a mandatory field to place order.

Show customization data on cart/checkout

Enable this setting if you want to view the detail of the Spiral Text inside Cart Page, and Shopify Order details

Creating your Campaign

Once you're done with creating your Artwork, add it to your Campaign like usual:



Be sure to double-check your Storefront to make sure all is good:
