Assign Variants to Mockup

For products with different color variants, you can assign any number of mockups to a specific variant. When a customer selects a variant on the store, the gallery automatically updates to display the corresponding mockup.

Open mockup/ variant assignments

• In the Mockup section, click Assign mockups.

1. With no existing assignments: The Assign mockups popup opens.
2. With existing assignments: The Mockup assignments popup opens.

• You can also use this feature in the Product Base editor. It works the same way in both the Product Base and Campaign editor.

Create new assignments

In Assign mockups popup, select the variants and mockups that should be shown together.

• Select variants: Search and select one/ multiple variants;
• Select mockups: Select one or multiple mockups from the grid;
• Save: Available when at least one variant and mockup are selected.

You can use Select all or Deselect all if needed.

After saving, you will be taken to Mockup assignments.

Manage existing assignments

Mockup assignments are organized to match your workflow needs:

• If you need to assign multiple variants to one mockup, use Group by Mockup, then click Edit on that mockup to add or remove variants.
• If you need to assign multiple mockups to one variant, use Group by Variant, then click Edit on that variant to select or deselect mockups.

• If you need to assign multiple mockups to multiple variants at once, click Bulk assign to return to the Assign mockups popup.

Add a video to your product

A video has to be imported before you can assign it. Videos are imported from a YouTube or Vimeo link, not uploaded as a file.

1. In the Mockup section, click the ... button next to Upload and Import, then click Import video.

2. Paste a YouTube or Vimeo link into Video URL.
3. Optional: under Custom Thumbnail, click Browse to upload your own thumbnail image. Leave it blank to use the default thumbnail from YouTube or Vimeo.
4. Click Import Video.

The video is added and appears in the gallery next to your mockups, marked with a play icon.

• You can also import a video in the Product Base editor, from the same Mockup section > ... > Import video.

Assign a video to a variant

An imported video is assigned exactly like a mockup, in the same Assign mockups and Mockup assignments popups.

• In Assign mockups, videos appear in the same grid as the mockups, marked with a play icon, and are selected the same way. Save becomes available once at least one variant and at least one mockup or video are selected.

• In Mockup assignments, videos are listed next to the mockups, with their own assignment status. A video that is not assigned to any variant shows Not assigned yet.

• Both groupings work for videos: use Group by Mockup to add or remove variants for one video, and Group by Variant to select or deselect the videos shown for one variant.

How assigned mockups show on your store

• With Show only the assigned images and videos of the selected variant enabled, assigned mockups will be displayed when customers select corresponding variant. If a variant has no mockups assigned, all mockups will be displayed.

• When the Campaign syncs to Shopify, the first assigned mockup becomes the variant image in Shopify.

• Videos are synced to your Shopify product media, but they are not assigned to any variant in Shopify. The variant filtering for videos happens in Teeinblue's gallery only.
• If a variant has assigned videos but no assigned mockups, its Shopify variant image stays empty, and Teeinblue's gallery still shows the assigned videos for that variant.
