Personalize existing Shopify Products with Campaign by Shopify products

If you have existing Shopify products and don't want to recreate them in Product Base, you can use Campaign by Shopify products to add personalization options directly to those products. This is a new campaign type that operates independently of the existing workflow. You can continue using the traditional Product Base workflow through Campaign by Product Base as before, with no changes.

In summary, with this new workflow, Teeinblue will:

Still displays artworks and mockups on your storefront.
Still generates design URLs and attaching them to Shopify orders. For details, see Add order design URL to Shopify orders. You can also continue viewing your orders directly in the Teeinblue app as usual.
Still supports order fulfillment if you use the SKU Mapping feature or other ways for non-integrated fulfillment providers.
NOT manage variants because this campaign type does not use Product Base. All product information, including the title, description, variants, and tags, will come from your existing Shopify product.

How to create Campaign by Shopify products?

STEP 1. Select an existing Shopify Product

Go to Campaigns → by Shopify products and click + New Campaign.

If you have multiple stores connected to the same Teeinblue account, you'll need to select a store first.

Click the + button. A popup will appear, allowing you to select an existing Shopify product from the selected store to add personalization options to.

You cannot select products already created by Teeinblue through either Campaign by Product Base or Campaign by Shopify products. The product must also be Active, not Draft.

Click Create to create a campaign using the selected product.

If you duplicate a product created by Teeinblue, you must delete the teeinblue.campaign_version or teeinblue.platform_product metafield from the new product before you can select it. See this guide.

STEP 2. Select Artwork to add personalization options

In the Campaign editor, click Select artwork > choose an artwork from the list:

After an artwork is selected, its personalization options will appear in the preview section. You can more artworks if you need more designs.

By default, when the Connect artworks with Shopify variants toggle is disabled, the personalization form includes all options from all added artworks. Each artwork will generate a design when a customer places an order.

STEP 3 (optional). Connect artworks with Shopify variants

If you want an artwork to appear only when customers select specific variants, use the Connect artworks with Shopify variants feature.

Enable the Connect artworks with Shopify variants toggle. Once enabled, click Select variants to connect.

Select the variants for which you want the artwork to appear.

When this toggle is enabled, you must connect every artwork to at least one variant.

Once all artworks are connected to the appropriate variants, each artwork and its personalization options will appear only when customers select one of its connected variants.

STEP 4. Upload Mockup Images

A mockup image is required to display the Live Preview.

Click Upload mockup to open the image upload popup, or click Import to get mockup images from an existing campaign.

If you upload your mockup, wait for a few seconds then click on Reload button to show the uploaded image, then click Select.

Once you have uploaded/ imported your mockup image, add the artwork to it to display the Live Preview

The Mockup Editor works similarly to the one in Campaign by Product Base. The only difference is that you add artworks instead of printareas. Learn more about Mockup Editor here.

STEP 5. Launch your Campaign

Once you are happy with the results, click on the Launch button to publish your campaign.

The mockup and personalization form will then appear on your Shopify storefront.

Once having orders from this campaign, you can view them on the Orders page in Teeinblue or in Shopify Orders with design URLs attached.

How to check Campaign Logs?

You can check the campaign logs in the Logs section, which includes two tabs:

Publication History: Shows when the campaign was published or updated.
Edit Activities: Shows changes made to the campaign, such as adding or removing artworks.
