Color Sequence feature
The Color Sequence feature allows each character in a buyer's text to display a different color, following a predefined color sequence. You can customize the color order, so the result is consistent rather than random. As buyers type their text, each character takes the next color in your sequence.

Please continue reading this article to learn how to set up this feature on your store.
HOW TO SET UP COLOR SEQUENCE FEATURE
First, decide how you want buyers to use color sequences:
- One fixed sequence - All buyers see the same color sequence and cannot change it. Follow Option A.
- Multiple sequences - Buyers can choose from several color sequences you provide. Follow Option B.
Option A. One fixed color sequence
- Create a Text layer and go to font color on the toolbar. The color picker has two options: Solid (one color for the whole text) and Color Sequence (a different color for each character). Select Color Sequence.

- Add more or remove colors to build your desired sequence.

Alternatively, click From assets to select a predefined color sequence, as guided in Step 1- Option B.

Once you've selected a sequence or created your own, you can:
- Add or delete a color
- Change a color's position
- Import colors from a Color Category
Option B. Let buyers choose from multiple sequences
- Create your color sequences in Color Categories:
- Go to Assets > Color category.
- Group your Color Categories into parent categories and sub-categories, the same way Clipart Categories work.

- Set the Text layer to Color Sequence:
- Select the text Layer, go to Font color, and select Color Sequence.

- Connect the sequences to the Color Layer:
To let buyers switch between color sequences, configure a Color layer to provide the available options.
- In Artwork Editor, add a Color layer from Form Elements.

- In the Color layer, select Color Sequence categories and choose a group of categories you created.

- On the Text layer, enable Populate Color from another option and select the corresponding Color layer.
